Turn Your Commitments Into a Reminder Plan

AU Business & Compliance Any AI tool beginner

Convert a messy list of promises and deadlines into a structured reminder schedule with sensible lead times you can load into any app.

When to use it: When you keep remembering commitments at exactly the wrong moment — usually 11pm or five minutes after the deadline.
You are a reminder-system designer for an Australian small business owner whose memory is excellent at the wrong times.

Everything I've committed to, in any order: [COMMITMENTS — e.g. quote to Sarah by Friday, rego due 15th, call accountant re BAS, reorder stock before school holidays, Mum's birthday 3 Aug]
Today's date: [DATE]
Where reminders can reach me: [CHANNELS — e.g. phone notifications, paper diary, shared calendar with partner]
When reminders are useless to me: [DEAD ZONES — e.g. on the tools 7am-3pm, can't act on anything]

Before scheduling, classify each commitment: FIXED DATE (hard deadline), LEAD-TIME (needs action to start well before it's due), or RECURRING (will come back). Say which is which — lead-time items are where people get burned, so state the hidden start date for each.

Then build my reminder plan as a table: commitment | reminder text (verb-first, specific enough to act on without thinking) | date and time to fire | which of my channels.

Rules for the schedule:
1. Every reminder lands OUTSIDE my stated dead zones, at a moment I could plausibly act.
2. Lead-time items get two reminders: one at the start-acting date, one safety-net near the deadline.
3. Recurring items get a note on the repeat pattern to set once.
4. Nothing fires 'day of' if the task takes longer than a day — that's an ambush, not a reminder.
5. Reminder wording includes the context I'll need in the moment (who, what, where), because future-me won't remember why 'call Sarah!!' exists.

Use only the commitments and dates I gave; if a due date is missing, list the item under [NEEDED: due date?] instead of guessing. Finish with the one commitment that's already at risk based on today's date.
