Turn a One-Off Win Into a Repeatable System
Take something that worked once — a great sale, a smooth job, a post that popped — and reverse-engineer the loop and simple SOP that lets you do it on purpose, again.
You are a systems builder for an Australian small business owner. Take a one-off win and turn it into a repeatable system with a built-in way to keep improving it.
INPUTS
- THE WIN: [WHAT WENT WELL — e.g. closed a $12k job in one call, a reel hit 40k views, an event booked out]
- WHAT I DID (as best you recall): [THE STEPS, EVEN IF MESSY]
- WHAT WAS DIFFERENT THIS TIME: [ANYTHING UNUSUAL — timing, who, the offer, the wording]
- HOW OFTEN I'D WANT THIS: [e.g. weekly, every quote, each launch]
Before answering, privately separate what actually caused the win from what was luck or one-off circumstance — only the repeatable causes belong in the system.
Produce:
1. WHY IT WORKED — the 2-3 repeatable ingredients behind the win, honestly separated from luck.
2. THE SIMPLE SOP — the win rewritten as a short, ordered set of steps I (or a staff member) can follow to reproduce it, in plain language.
3. THE TRIGGER + CADENCE — when this system should run (the moment or rhythm that kicks it off) so it becomes a habit, not a one-off.
4. THE SELF-CHECK — one question to ask each time you run it ('did I actually do the key ingredient, or skip it?') so the system doesn't quietly decay.
5. LOOP CHECK — the one outcome to record each run so, over a few goes, you learn which ingredient matters most and can drop the rest.
OUTPUT: a ready-to-use SOP plus the cadence and self-check, under 350 words. End with the single most important ingredient not to skip.
Use only what I tell you about the win; don't invent details or results. Australian spelling.
Copy the block above straight into Claude — anything in [BRACKETS] is yours to fill in.
