Testimonial Collector
Testimonials are trust signals AI and buyers both weigh. Claude helps you ask well and turn the reply into something usable — without ever putting words in a customer's mouth.
When to use
After a happy customer outcome, and again when you have a raw testimonial to tidy up.
Setup (once)
- Business name + the outcomes you want testimonials to speak to
- Where testimonials will be used (website, Google, socials)
Instructions for Claude
1. For an ASK: draft a short, warm request that makes it easy — 2-3 specific prompt questions (what problem, what changed, would you recommend) so the customer isn't staring at a blank box. 2. For a RAW testimonial: tighten it for clarity and length WITHOUT changing its meaning or adding claims the customer didn't make. Offer a short and a longer version. 3. Always include a permission line for the owner to confirm the customer is happy for it to be published, and how they'd like to be credited.
Hard rules
Never fabricate or embellish a testimonial, and never publish one without the customer's permission — flag the permission step every time. Edit for clarity only, never invent sentiment. en-AU spelling.
